I must admit this sketch had me stumped because I do not have this background die-cut or stencil. I have begun making Christmas cards and it just fell into place. I love, love this new cranberry color. So elegant.

I believe that this lace background is one of my favorites ever. I used MFT cardstocks, inks, dies and stamps for this card. I like the way it came together.

MFT Quiet Space

I think this was one of my favorite lessons. Everyone who has seen this card says it is very calming and so appropriate. Thanks for a great week!

Mojo402

I made this card for my son, Mark's birthday. He is an avid bowler and I felt the circles added the movement of the sport!

When I saw this graphic, I knew it would be the perfect Father's Day card for my husband. He is the best father any person could have!

MFT Movement/Flow

This is Timmy's card. He turned 3. I tried to create movement toward the greeting. I really love the way the wavy greeting went right along with the road created using the die-namics snow drifts as a template.

MFT Focal Point

This is Maddie's birthday card. I loved the suggestion for making the focal image stand out over a background by giving it some white space of its own. I made a watercolor background using all of Maddie's favorite colors and then toned it down with the new cover up. I colored the little girl with copics and popped her up with foam tape. Now she takes center stage over the background. Good Lesson!

MFT Rule of Thirds

I made this card for Connor's birthday. I was really happy to see the sketch for the thirds. It really helped me with placement. I did mine on acetate so that it will be handy the next time I get stuck as to why my card is not looking just right.

I have several friends going through Chemo treatments now. Get well is not an option, but Feel Better should do the trick to cheer them up.

Congrats to Holly

I made this card for my daughter, Holly. She recently accepted a position at Avila University in Kansas City, MO as a Learning Architect. She moved from Columbia, MO to Kansas City as well as beginning a new job. She has always been quite independent. The photo in the background is one I got from the web and it was just the perfect accent. Her Dad and I just wanted her to know that she never ceases to amaze us and how much we love her!

This card is for my husband for our 53rd Anniversary. He loves glittery and shiny, so I applied some Glossy accents on the stamped heart for glossy and used silver glitter paper for the circle and hearts. The background is romantic script stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with white detail powder. Red, his favorite color, was applied with a blending tool. I'm sure he will like it.

MOJO 399

I have really grown to love the "tall and skinny" challenge week. At first, I was rather intimated, because the space is an inch less on the width. I have found that it gives me a chance to use smaller embellishments or the opportunity to showcase one stamp from a set.

Since I didn't have a rounded rectangle, I chose the square corner one. We have a High School Graduation this month and this turned out just perfect for a young man. His school colors are blue and gold. Hope he likes it!
